Sign in to your Google account and click on "maps." Select "My maps." Choose "Create new map." Zoom to the map area where you want to place multiple points.
Click the blue balloon icon at the upper left corner of the map. Move the cursor over the map. An "x" will appear, indicating the spot where you will place the balloon. Click the map where the balloon's point should be placed. You can also search for the location using Google Maps before you place the blue balloon icon on the map.
Add a title and description to the point on your map. Click "OK" to proceed. Click the blue balloon again and repeat the process to place additional points and descriptions on your map. Save the map when you are finished.
