Open all compartments and unzip all fixtures. Place the skis, boots and accessories next to the bag.
Arrange your skis so they "spoon" with each other. Spooning them means to arrange them so the tips' flare/curve are facing the same direction, housing them into each other. Place them into the long section of the bag, and wrap the nylon straps around the tips and tails of the skis. Attach the hook-and-catch fabric straps so they tighten around the skis, securing them into position.
Place one pair of ski boots into the end section of the bag. Lay the boots into the bag so they form a square, going heel-to-toe with the opposite boots. Pack socks, warm hats and gloves around or in the boots to prevent them from being bumped into the skis during transport. Place the second pair of boots, if you have another pair, into the opposite end boot bag section in the same manner. Zip up the boot bags.
Slide the poles next to the skis in the ski section. Pack any ski jackets or vests into the ski section as an added layer of padding for the skis during transport. Zip up the ski section.
Attach any locks to the zippers, and fill out the address and name tag on the ski bag. Include flight numbers if known.
