Chances are that you will be doing a lot of swimming, both on your cruise ship as well as on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii. Be sure to take a few swimsuits because putting on a wetsuit can be extremely uncomfortable. You can wear one while the other is drying.
If you plan to explore the islands during your shore excursions, you will need a comfortable pair of walking shoes. All footwear should be broken in before your trip or you might end up with a blister that can ruin your day. Be sure to take a pair of flip-flops to wear to the pool or the beach.
Check with your cruise itinerary to see what the dress code is for the formal dinner night, if there is one. You can pack a cocktail dress or another appropriate outfit. Don't forget the shoes that go with the dress.
