Where is packingtown located?

Packingtown, also known as the Union Stock Yards, was a meatpacking district located in Chicago, Illinois. It was situated on the city's Near West Side, approximately between West 39th and West 51st streets and bounded by the South Branch of the Chicago River on the north and Halsted Street on the east. Packingtown was home to numerous meatpacking plants, slaughterhouses, and related businesses, and was once the largest meatpacking district in the world.
