All travelers to the Dominican Republic, including U.S. citizens, must have a valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date you enter the Dominican Republic.

In addition to a passport, you will also need a tourist card. Tourist cards are available for purchase at the airport upon arrival in the Dominican Republic. They cost $10 per person.
