3. Offering credible testimony about their initial intentions in the U.S. and subsequent change of plans.
The applicant might prove absence of immigrant intent to the USCIS officer by showing, but not limited to:
- Strong family. ties outside the United States such as living parents, children, and/or siblings
- Proof of a job, employment-related matters, home ownership commitments abroad.
- Financial commitments abroad
4. Lack of preparations before their arrival on U.S. soil in anticipation of a wedding (like an already obtained wedding gown from an American salon.
