Find a job in Libya. Without an employer, it will be impossible for you to obtain a visa, because only the employer can start the process by requesting a work permit from the Libyan government.
Provide your employer with basic information, including your birth certificate, Social Security or national insurance number and passport number, before they make the request to the Libyan embassy in Libya.
Find the Libyan consulate in your own country and email their consular services section to request a visa application. Give them the reference number your employer has already acquired.
Take two standard-sized color passport photos at a photo processing center to attach to your application.
Make copies of your round-trip tickets to Libya and the vital information page of your passport to accompany your application. The passport page must be translated into Arabic.
Complete the application form and send it with your passport, a letter of invitation from your employer, the visa fee, photos, ticket copies and Arabic translation of the passport vital pages to the Libyan consulate in your home country.
Wait for up to six months for your application to be approved and your passport mailed back to you.
