Collect all the necessary documents and paperwork. Everyone must have the visa application form, your flight itinerary, proof that you have somewhere to stay, your passport, an additional passport photo and proof of travel insurance. Additional requirements may exist depending on the reason for your travel. They are listed on the Norwegian Embassy's website.
Go to the nearest Norwegian foreign mission (consulate or embassy) to turn in the application and supporting documentation. These offices are located in Washington, D.C., New York, San Francisco and Minneapolis.
Wait about 10 days for your application to be processed.
