How to Get a Work Permit or Visa for Singapore

Singapore, a small island nation in Southeast Asia, is one of the smallest countries in the world. For those entering Singapore for business or employment, Singapore offers long-term visitor visas and either employment passes or work permits, depending on your expected monthly salary. If your expected monthly salary is less than 2,500 Singapore dollars, you qualify for a work permit. Those with salaries over 2,500 Singapore dollars require an employment pass. The application process is nearly the same for both.
