How to Get a Syrian Passport for Children

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the Syrian embassy nearest to you (see Resources). When you call the embassy, you will be directed to the department for consular affairs, visas and passports. Indicate that you need a passport issued for a child.

    • 2

Complete a passport application and consular registration form for your child, which can both be obtained at designated offices or online if the embassy has a website with printable attachments. In most cases, you will need to submit the application in two or three signed copies.

    • 3

Choose up to five personal photos of your child to include as a requirement for the application. Snapshots will suffice if you don't have any photographs readily available.

    • 4

Create a checklist to make sure you've prepared all signed documents, necessary photos and requisite fees for submission to the embassy. You might be given the option of faxing or mailing the paperwork in lieu of returning to the office, so choose the most convenient method.
