What visa is required for Gibraltar?

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory, and as such, British passport holders do not require a visa to enter Gibraltar. However, citizens of other countries may require a visa to visit Gibraltar.

Visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and Switzerland can enter Gibraltar with a valid national identity card or passport.

Certain nationalities from outside the European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland may be eligible for a visa on arrival. The visa on arrival fee is £20 and is valid for a maximum of 12 days.

Nationals of the following countries are eligible for a visa on arrival:

- Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China (People's Republic), Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Korea (South), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macau (SAR), Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nicaragua, North Macedonia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

Nationals of all other countries must obtain a visa in advance from a British Embassy or Consulate.
