The Philippine Embassy in New Dehli may issue visitation visas valid for up to 59 days for pleasure trips.
Indian nationals wishing to visit the Philippines for holiday or other pleasure visits must present a number of documents, including a visa application completed in English, a passport photo taken within the prior six months, a passport valid for six months beyond your stay in the Philippines, a confirmed air ticket with return, a photocopy of confirmed air ticket with return, a photocopy of data and amendment pages of passport, application fee, bank statements for two years prior to application, tax return or documentation of annual income, a letter or certification of current employment from the applicant's employer or registration for the business if the applicant is self-employed, and a copy of any hotel bookings if applicant has them.
Students should have copies or certification of enrollment in school. Minors require documentation of their parents' income for the past two years and it may be best to also include bank statements. Parents must demonstrate they have the finances to support their children in travel and in general.
Spouses of Philippine nationals must include their spouse's name and a copy of their Report of Marriage issued by a Philippine Embassy or the Philippine government. Unmarried minor children of Filipino parents must submit birth certificates from both the Indian and Philippine governments.
Indian nationals intending to visit the Philippines for business purposes need all of the previously mentioned documents, but also should have a letter of invitation from the Philippine business they are intending to visit as well as either a certificate of employment from their employers or business registration certificates of their own business if self-employed.
Generally, if an applicant can supply all the documentation required and it appears that the applicant bis a financially capable person who is likely to return to India, a visa will be granted. Documents which show that an applicant has business, income, family and other ties that will cause him or her to return home are generally helpful.
