Step 2: Submit an application.
You must submit the following documents to the nearest Iceland embassy or consulate
- A completed visa application form.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with white background.
- A copy of your passport.
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in Iceland.
- Proof of accommodation booked for the duration of your stay in Iceland.
- Proof of health insurance that covers the duration of your stay in Iceland.
- A cover letter explaining the purpose of your visit to Iceland.
- Any other documents that may be required by the embassy or consulate.

Step 3: Pay the visa fee.
You must pay the visa fee when you submit your application. The visa fee is determined by your citizenship. Please check with the nearest Iceland embassy or consulate for specific visa fee information.
Step 4: Wait for a decision.
The embassy or consulate will review your application and make a decision within 15 days from the date of your application. If your visa application is approved, you will be issued a Schengen visa.
Step 5: Collect your visa.
Once your visa has been approved, you can collect it from the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application.
