Download and print an application package from the CIC website. A Canadian tourist visa application is referred to as a "Temporary Resident Visa Application." The package comes with application guides and all the forms required to be filled out.
Go over the application guide carefully before writing on the application form. It contains helpful information, including an instruction guide, document checklist, and visa photograph specifications.
Complete the application form and attach the necessary documents. These include a valid passport, two recent passport photos, and an application fee. Proof that you have sufficient money for your visit is also needed, in the form of bank account certificates. Other documents may also be included to support your application such as identification cards, employment certificates, and travel itinerary.
Pay the of C$75 (Canadian dollar) for a single-entry visa or C$150 for a multiple-entry visa. For a family application, the fee is C$400 for both single or multiple-entry visas. Payments can be made using a check or a credit or debit card account.
After signing and putting the date on the accomplished application form, enclose it in an envelope with all the necessary document and fees. Send the complete application to the Canadian visa office in your country of residence. The list of visa offices is also included in the application guides.
