The bar is open late seven days a week and advertises a friendly and home-like atmosphere with their slogan, "Thank you for being a friend. Welcome Home." The bar features special events such as Free Pool Night, Wii Night, and Laid Back Friday, and is site of monthly meetings for the local Leather Club. Discovery Night Club is a club and bar that caters to LGBT clientele and is located in the River Market downtown area of Little Rock, Arkansas. The club is open only one night a week, Saturdays, but it is open until at least 5:00 a.m. as the party goes late. Discovery attracts all types in the LGBT community to come for dancing, music and drinks. According to "Gay Cities," the club is hosted by the same venue that hosts another LGBT popular event, Backstreet Friday nights. The club's website reports that locals sometimes refer to Discovery as "Disco" as the music is a mix of techno and hip hop.
