Wanderlust World Wanderlust World November brings free admission day at the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame in Atlanta. The museum offers families a chance to explore the exhibits on display, featuring memorabilia of some of the Braves' most famous baseball players, including Hank Aaron. Kids can get up close and personal with jerseys and autographed balls of some of their favorite players, and souvenirs are available for purchase. The museum is located inside Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves, and free admission day typically takes place on the second Saturday of each November. Make sure to call ahead for opening times.

The Annual Pow Wow and Indian Festival takes places in early November every year at Stone Mountain Park, showcasing Native American traditions of some of Atlanta's neighboring tribes. The event is set in a makeshift teepee village, and features crafts such as pottery makings, cloth weaving and hide scraping. Kids have a chance to participate in some hands on activities, like jewelery making, and special sweets are available for tasting. Participating tribes also take part in a tribal dance competition, a fun and educational spectacle for kids to watch.

The Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights is an annual tradition in Atlanta, and helps kick off the holiday season. Located at Callaway Gardens just outside Atlanta, the event typically opens during the last week in November. This light display showcases more than eight million lights with large-scale displays and light-up scenes. Fantasy in Lights is a ride-through event and families can drive their own car or ride in the event's own trolley. The event began in 1992 and gets bigger each year. Families attend to take in the lights and taste snacks like cookies and hot chocolate.
