How to Pack a Lunch For the Beach

It's summer time and if you live anywhere near the coast, more than likely you're going to be heading to the beach for some fun in the sun. And if you're going to the beach, you're probably going to work up an appetite. So be sure you come stocked and prepared for the day before you step onto the sand.

Instructions

  1. How to Pack a Lunch For the Beach

    • 1

Plan one or two days in advance what you will be bringing for lunch to the beach. Purchase food that you can prepare easily such as cold cuts, tuna, peanut butter and jelly. Don’t forget to pack bread as well.

    • 2

Purchase small bottles and cans of drinks to place in coolers. The individual servings are the best for this type of trip. Purchase enough because you will need a lot of hydration while being out in the sun.

    • 3

Purchase ice the day you go to the beach. Most gas stations are stocked up with ice. Stop by and pick up enough to fill up your coolers. You should fill one cooler up with drinks and a second smaller cooler with cold cuts, mayonnaise, mixed tuna and jelly.

    • 4

Bring enough napkins, paper dishes, plastic utensils and cups.

    • 5

Bring a large blanket to sit on. It will be a nicer lunch at the beach if you have enough room to not only eat lunch but sit down on a sand free seat. Not that it will always be sand free, but you at least want to start out that way.

    • 6

Bring a lap T.V. tray with you. You can use this as a table to prepare the sandwiches for your lunch. Your lunch at the beach will be great with a little preparation and thought.
