Each passenger is allotted one carry-on item and one personal item including but not limited to a purse, briefcase or laptop. The carry-on item must fit underneath the seat or in the overhead bin. Carry-on items should not exceed 9 x 14 x 22 inches. Any carry-on item that doesn't meet these requirements may be subject to travel as checked baggage.
All liquids, gels and aerosols must fit in one clear quart or liter sized bag in containers that are 3 ounces or less. All plastic bags must be completely sealed and will be X-rayed at the security checkpoint. Baby formula, milk, baby food and medications are allowed but must be presented to officials at security checkpoints if they exceed 3 ounces.
There is no limit on the number of checked bags for travel within Asia. However, there are size and weight limitations for checked baggage. Also, certain sprays, liquids and powders are prohibited when traveling to Canada. A more detailed list of restrictions is available online (see References).
