Liquids must follow the 3-1-1 rule. 3.4 ounce bottles of liquid must fit in one quart-sized clear plastic bag and one bag is allowed per traveler. Liquids such as baby formula, medication, breast milk and food can be declared upon check-in at the airport.
Sharp objects, guns, sporting goods, tools and martial arts items must be checked in your luggage and are not allowed in carry-on luggage. Explosive or combustible materials are not allowed in checked or carry-on luggage.
TSA-approved locks can be purchased from retailers. These locks have a universal master key that can be opened by an airport screener rather than be cut.
