Search for discounts on Las Vegas hotels using the Internet. Websites such as Expedia, Travelocity and Hotel.com usually have specials for Las Vegas Strip hotels.
Look at the discounted prices for the hotels and compare them to the actual prices of the rooms listed on the hotels' websites. This way, you will know how much money you would be saving.
Book the hotel that offers the best value for the discount. This does not necessarily mean the cheapest room, but it means the cheapest room for what you are getting. For instance, a $70 per night discount rate in a corner suite at the Venetian is a better value than a $50 per night discount rate in a small room at the Flamingo.
Book your hotel online with your credit or debit card, and make sure you are comfortable making the transaction online. If you do not feel comfortable using your credit or debit card over the Internet, websites such as Expedia and Travelocity sometimes give you a number which you can call.
