Contact cemetery officials in writing at Arlington National Cemetery, Administrative Building, Arlington, VA 22211. Put an attention note to the Freedom of Information Request Officer. The request should contain reasons as to why the information should be released to you.
Travel to Arlington National Cemetery by car. A parking lot is available near the Visitor Center for a fee. To drive within the cemetery to visit the grave of a relative, you must obtain permission in advance from cemetery officials. You can write to the address in Step 1.
Go by Metro Train from Washington, D.C., to the cemetery, as an alternative. A stop is located near the Visitor Center.
Ride within the cemetery on the Tourmobile, the only commercial operation licensed to drive within the cemetery, as another option. The Tourmobile makes stops at the Visitor Center and sites within the park such as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A fee is charged.
