Is being a nomadic assyrian trait?

While some ancient Assyrian tribes did engage in semi-nomadic practices to some extent in certain periods of their history, especially during early migrations, Assyrians as a broader civilization and modern ethnic group are not inherently nomadic. Assyrians have established permanent civilizations with urban centers, agricultural, economic, and cultural development throughout Mesopotamia (Assyria). Assyrians today largely lead settled lifestyles in countries like Iraq, Syria, Armenia, Lebanon, Georgia, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and in various diaspora communities around the world.
