The Cottonwood Art Festival, sponsored by the City of Richardson, is held twice a year in October and April. For 40 years, Richardson has hosted the fest featuring regional visual artists and artisans in a juried show. Local musicians perform while you stroll through the exhibits or munch on shrimp k-bobs, fresh pretzels or key lime pie. Bring your children to visit the pint-sized Picasso kids' arts and crafts activities area.
