Travel to Cardigan Bay to swim with wild dolphins. The dolphins are wild and are sometimes a little unpredictable. They are used to people and do play with people who enter the waters.
Hold onto the top fin of the dolphin and they will swim very fast around the water. The dolphins may try to take you into the deep waters. Let go before this happens. It is wise to stay close enough to shore or wear a life vest that can be inflated, in case the dolphin goes too far from shore.
Wade into the water so as not to scare the dolphins away. The dolphin will come to you as soon as you are deep enough in the water. They will splash water as a way of playing.
Wear a wetsuit, goggles and a snorkel for the best time. The water is warm, but you will be in the water for a long time when swimming with dolphins.
Hire a guide to take you dolphin swimming, if you are unsure of the area and the dolphins. Most guides will take you to the most popular spots in Cornwall to swim with the dolphins.
