Does Alaska have one month or two months of night?

Two months.

The Arctic Circle (66.5° N) bisects Alaska, so the state has two months of night where the sun never rises above the horizon. This occurs from November to January in the northernmost parts of the state, and from December to January in the southern parts. Similarly, Alaska also experiences two months of daylight where the sun never sets below the horizon. This occurs from May to July in the northernmost parts of the state, and from June to July in the southern parts.
