When did japan leave Korea?

The Japanese left Korea after they were defeated in World War II, in accordance with the Postdam Declaration in August 1945. Japan formally renounced and gave up all "right, title and claim " over Korea under article II of San Francisco peace Treaty, which took effect April 28, 1952.
