Mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant is in the Knott's Berry Farm, which is about six miles from Anaheim. The menu consists of lunch and dinner entrees, soups, sandwiches, salads and a complete breakfast. The specialty meal is the chicken dinner, which has been served since 1934 and still consists of the same items: chicken, biscuits and boysenberry pie. You do not have to be inside the park to visit the restaurant, which is open every day except Christmas. The Knott's Berry Farm features a theme park with rides, a water park, shows and many unique shopping and dinner experiences.

Joe's Crab Shack is a seafood restaurant in Garden Grove, about five miles from Anaheim. The restaurant offers affordable seafood and daily specials. Some specialty entrees include the crab nachos, seafood enchiladas, blackened tilapia and many steam pots full of crab and lobster. It has a fun, outgoing atmosphere where the wait staff will dance to music. The restaurant has an extensive wine and drink menu.
