Mount Pocono is a borough in the Pocono Mountains in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, in the East Stroudsburg metro area. Enjoy a wide range of outdoor recreation in this resort area, which is located less than 30 minutes from Gouldsboro State Park and Tobyanna State Park.   1. The Orginal Bailey's Rib & Steakhouse

    • The Original Bailey's Rib & Steakhouse is a casual, family-friendly restaurant with two large, indoor dining areas. You'll also find outdoor seating areas and a full bar. The barbecue is served either with dry rub and no sauce, lightly sauced or with a lot of sauce. Some of the flame-broiled steaks, served with two side dishes, include center-cut top sirloin, filet mignon and slow-roasted prime rib of beef au jus. Sandwiches and burgers, a salad bar and a raw bar are also available. Private parties can be accommodated and a children's menu is available. The Original Bailey's Rib & Steakhouse is open daily.

    Burke's Tavern & Restaurant

    • Owned by two brothers as of 2011, Burke's Tavern & Restaurant is a casual restaurant with a pub-like atmosphere. It has low ceilings, wooden wall panels, television sets, a bar and a billiard table. The restaurant serves many types of food, from Italian to Mexican to American. Menu items include chicken parmigiana, quesadillas, nachos, onion rings, chicken wings, burgers and a tuna steak sandwich. Burke's Tavern is open daily.

    The Village Malt Shoppe

    • The Village Malt Shoppe is located in the Casino Theatre, a local movie house. The restaurant is decorated with 1950s nostalgia and has the feel of an old-fashioned diner. If you want to watch a movie, you can order food and it will be served at your seat, or you can eat in the restaurant. In addition to the ice cream, malts and sundaes, you can also order a turkey sandwich, pizza, chicken nuggets or signature burgers such as the bacon barbecue burger or chili cheddar burger. The Village Malt Shoppe is open daily.

    Tokyo Tea House

    • For authentic Japanese cuisine and vegetarian dishes, dine at Tokyo Tea House. This small, causal-dining restaurant serves different kinds of sushi as well as noodles, hot-pot dishes and teriyaki and tempura, which are both served with miso soup, salad vegetables and rice. Try the sushi platter, fish teriyaki, chicken tempura or chicken and seafood noodle pot. Donburi, meals over rice with chicken, pork, shrimp and eel, is also served. Tokyo Tea House is closed on Tuesdays.
