How to Find an Australian Address

Finding an address in Australia can be difficult if you don't know where to look. Because of Australian laws, few reverse phone lookups exist for Australian phone numbers, and most of the ones available use outdated phone records and underground internet websites. Luckily, as long as a person has the name, business name, or governmental department they want to look up, they can find an address quickly by searching the directory in the Australia white pages.

  Open your browser and in the address bar type www.whitepages.com.au . This will take you to the Australian white pages directory.

  Select one of the three tabs in the upper left hand corner of the page: listed business, government and residential. This will give you a form to fill in with your search information.

  Enter the business name, governmental agency or name of the person you are looking for. If you know the general area they live in, such as Melbourne VIC or Sydney, enter that as well and this will help to narrow the search. Press "Enter."

  Check the results. You will be presented with all the information white pages has on the names, businesses or governmental agencys they have information about. Next to the list of addresses is a function allowing you to see the location on a map.
