The Mont Blanc Ski Resort is just seventy-five minutes north of Montreal in Quebec's ski region of Mont Tremblant, Canada's "white mountain." It offers forty-one trails and seven lifts, all equipped to accommodate night skiing, and boasts one of the region's highest verticals, several advanced slopes and a major ski school. The Mont Blanc Ski Resort also offers a daycare for children 2 to 12 years of age and has access to the second highest peak in the Tremblant region.
The Owl’s Head Ski Resort caters to beginners and intermediate skiers, offering only 18 expert slopes out of its 45 trails and no access to any extreme slopes. Located in Masonville, just eighty minutes north of Montreal, this four-season resort has been providing skiers, and golfers, with a safe recreational area since its development 40 years ago. During winter, guests stay in one of twenty "ski-in-ski-out" accommodations on the third floor of the Appartment/Hotel and at the Auberge, which sit just above the shores of Lake Memphremagog with direct access to the lifts and ski slopes.
Just a 20 minute drive from Montreal takes skiers to the Mont St-Bruno Ski Resort. Smaller than most of the other ski resorts located farther away from the metro area of Montreal, Mont St-Bruno offers access to fifteen well-kept trails. This ski resort also has several lifts for quick access to the trails, including two quadruple chair lifts, two triple chair lifts, a ski tow and two T-bars. The Mont St-Bruno Ski Resort does not, however, offer parents a daycare service for younger children.
