Courmayeur is located near the French boarder at the foot of Mont Blanc, and features picturesque mountain views and houses with quaint slab roofs. Ski season starts in mid-December and goes until mid-April. The resort features English-speaking ski instructors who are particularly known for their ability to teach young skiers. There are also two snow-filled playgrounds for youngsters to explore their surroundings and a Sports Centre with ice skating, climbing walls and table tennis.

This resort is located on the slopes of Monte Sobretta in the province of Sondrio and was home to the 2005 World Ski Championships. Santa Caterina features multiple expert runs, but has an area known at the Tapis-roulan, where children can take ski lessons among inflated animals and small arches. The resort also offers a mini club, a camp-like program that provides activities and all day supervision for children between the ages of 3 and 8. Ski season opens in late November and ends in April.

Situated in the northwest corner of Italy, very close to the French border, La Thuile features numerous beginner, intermediate and advanced ski runs. The resort has a free mini club, to occupy young children during the day, as well as numerous lesson options to improve their skiing skills.
