Large Islands Between Florida and Jamaica

There are no large islands directly between Florida and Jamaica. The strait between them contains the Cayman Islands—three small islands (Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Little Cayman) located south of Cuba and northwest of Jamaica. The nearest large landmasses are Cuba (north of Jamaica) and Hispaniola (southeast). The Florida Straits separate Florida from Cuba; the Caribbean Sea lies between Cuba/Hispaniola and Jamaica.
