All-Inclusive Resorts in the Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands consist of three islands in the Caribbean Sea about 500 miles off the coast of Miami.     • The Reef is an excellent value for an all-inclusive resort.

      The Reef is the first all-inclusive resort on Grand Cayman, the largest of the three islands. Full buffets are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with live entertainment during dinner. As of December 2010, prices range from $225 per person, per night for a studio suite to $378 for a two-bedroom suite. Rates are based on double occupancy, and each additional adult is $148. Children ages 4 to 12 are $35 extra per night. Teenagers ages 13 to 17 are $70 extra per night. Three meals and a full-service bar are included in the fee. Also included is access to kayaks, paddle boats, fishing, bicycles and snorkel gear. The Reef has consistently been voted No. 1 among resorts, inclusive and non-inclusive alike, on the island.

    Beach Club Colony Hotel

    • The Beach Club Colony Hotel is smaller than the Reef and located on Seven Mile Beach. The hotel operates a dive center and offers a free introductory dive course. All three meals are included, buffet style, along with alcoholic beverages. Non-motorized water sports are included. Rates range from $150 per person for a standard room to $230 for an oceanfront room, as of December 2010. Rates are based on double occupancy. Third and fourth adults are an additional $120. Children 3 and younger are free, and those ages 4 to 6 are $28 extra. Teenagers cost an additional $75.

    Brac Reef Beach Resort

    • Kayaking is included at all three resorts.

      Brac Reef Beach Resort is located on Cayman Brac Island, one of the smaller islands. You have the option of purchasing diving or non-diving packages, as well as wedding and honeymoon packages. This unique resort offers movies under the stars, non-motorized water sports, cave explorations, birdwatching, tennis and volleyball. They also have WiFi and a fitness center. Rates range from $145 per night for a single ocean view room to $220 for a junior suite, as of December 2010. Diving packages are sold separately. Meal plans are also purchased separately for $76 per day for all three meals. Discounts apply for breakfast only or breakfast or lunch. Child meal plans are $38 for the three-meal plan.
