Great Britain's Queen Elizabeth II opened this botanic park in 1994 to showcase the beauty and diversity of the islands' flowers and plant life. The annual orchid show is one of the park's widely anticipated events. It happens each year around March. A variety of butterflies are also in the park, many of which are exceedingly rare. Iguanas are abundant along the park's Woodland Trail, which features the Blue Iguana Habitat. The trail further takes guests on a tour of the gardens, with stops along the way to educate visitors on the various plant and animal species found in the park.
