Mexico's highest mountain is Pico de Orizaba, also known as Citlaltépetl, which is located on the border between the states of Veracruz and Puebla. It is the third-highest mountain in North America, after Denali (Mount McKinley) in Alaska and Mount Logan in Canada. Pico de Orizaba has an elevation of approximately 5,636 metres (18,491 feet) above sea level.
