It is all-inclusive dining, so this is your chance to try out food you may not have ever eaten before. The specialty restaurants include Cafe Bistro Restaurant, which serves international, Mediterranean, Argentinean and Thai cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The La Tratto Restaurant specializes in Italian cuisine and is served for breakfast and dinner. If you are in the mood for steaks, seafood, and fish, have dinner at the Steak Restaurant. This restaurant, along with the Oriental Lounge, are only open for dinner. The last restaurant, Le Gourmet, features international cuisine and is only open for dinner, but you have to make a reservation. The dress code at each restaurant is casual elegance, so keep in mind no wet swimwear or clothing at the dining table.
The lounge, pool, lobby and beach bars of Sun Palace serve snacks and beverages daily if fine dining isn't on your menu. The lobby bar serves continental breakfast from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Both the pool and beach bars are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pool snack bar is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. An extra vacation package you can chose when booking your trip includes a concierge level package at the Sun Palace, with a private candlelight dinner and a private beach lounge chair area with personal waiter service for food and beverages.
The all-inclusive plan with Sun Palace also lets guests not only use facilities and bars at sister resorts, but also restaurants. Sun Palace's sister resorts are Beach Palace and Cancun Palace on Cancun Island, Moon Spa & Golf Club south of Cancun Island, Xpu-Ha Palace and Aventura Spa Palace on the Riviera Maya south of Cancun. At the Beach Palace alone, restaurants include the Tequila Restaurant, which serves international and Mexican cuisine; the Bocelli Restaurant, with Italian and Mediterranean; the Wok Restaurant, with Oriental cuisine; and La Terazza Restaurant featuring grilled fine cuts for dinner.
