The campground has 51 recreational vehicle and tent campsites, from which guests view the surrounding mountains and canyons. The sites have full hookups, i.e. water, electrical and sewer connections. The facility also rents out cabin and motel rooms for guests without an RV or tent.

      At the campground people can swim in an outdoor swimming pool, relax in a hot tub, fish on Shoshone River, play on a children's playground set, have a bite to eat at a western-style restaurant or café or get a drink in a lounge area. Other amenities include picnic tables, bathrooms with showers, a recreation room and fire pits. The campground is open from April until October.

    Trackrock, Georgia

    • Trackrock Campground and Cabins is in Blairsville, Georgia, near Brasstown Bald. The campground sits partially within Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, a natural area that has a network of nature trails. The campground, which has meadows and woodland areas, offers views of the surrounding North Georgia Mountains. The camping facility has 95 RV and tent sites, all of which have water and electrical connections. Campsites also have picnic tables and some come with sewer hookups.

      The facility rents out one and two bedroom cabins with porches, grills, porch swings, fireplaces and picnic tables. Guests can fish or swim in the campground's private Trackrock Lake and take guided horseback rides. Amenities at the campground include a recreation room, a game room, children's playgrounds, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, bathrooms with showers, a trash pickup service and a group fire pit. The camping resort offers planned activities such as hayrides and weekly church services. The facility is open throughout the year.

    Hermit Island, Maine

    • At Hermit Island Campground in Phippsburg, Maine, guests can choose from RV or tent campsites that sit on a cliff, on a harbor, in a forest, on the ocean or near a beach area. The campground on Casco Bay and Small Point Harbor is on a secluded peninsula and surrounded by swimming beaches.It has 66 campsites for RV and tent camping. The campsites come with picnic tables and fire pits. Guests can go fishing, canoeing, kayaking or boating.

      Amenities include a games room, nature trails, volleyball courts, a snack bar, fishing docks, a gift shop with souvenirs and fishing supplies, a group picnic area and bathrooms with showers. Most of the campground is open from June through September, although portions of the facility open in May.
