How to Locate an Address from an Arizona Driver's License

The Motor Vehicle Division is responsible for issuing driver's licenses in the state of Arizona. Address information for the licensee is printed directly on the front of the license. If the licensee has changed his address with the Motor Vehicle Division, you can find a sticker with the updated address on the back of the driver's license. In addition, you can request a driver's record printout that contains address information for certain "permissible uses."

Instructions

    • 1

Look at the front of the Arizona driver's license. The address is printed on left-hand side of the license directly below the Arizona logo and the driver's name.

    • 2

Flip over the license. If the person has changed his address with the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division, you will find a sticker on the back of the license with the updated address information for the licensee.

    • 3

Request a printout of the Motor Vehicle Division record for the licensee. On the front of the license record, in the upper-right corner, you will find the driver's license number. With the driver's license number and the name of the licensed individual, you can request a copy of the licensee's driving record for "permissible use." The driving record printout contains current identifying information including the address of the licensee on file with the Motor Vehicle Division. You can find a list of what constitutes "permissible use" by reading page two of the Motor Vehicle Record Request form (see Resources).
