Visit the website of the Department of Motor Vehicles for your state.
Click on the link for licenses, then look for a link on status. In the state of Washington site, the link says "Check the status of a driver's license."
Type your full driver's license number in the space provided, and click the button that says "status" or "get status." The next screen will show the status of the license, including any restrictions it may have.
