How to Locate a Physical Address
Your computer has several identifiers that allow servers and other devices to determine the exact system it is communicating with. One of these identifiers is the physical address, a term that is typically referred to as the MAC address. This address is used for networking purposes. You may need to determine this address for networking and troubleshooting purposes.

Press your "Windows" key and your "R" key at the same time. This will cause the "Run" utility to launch.

Type "cmd" in the field and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

Type "ipconfig /all" with a space between the "g" and the "/". Press your "Enter" key.

View the "Physical Address" line. The set of numbers and letters is your Physical Address.
