The Republic of the Fiji Islands is a nation in the southwest Pacific Ocean that is approximately 1,200 miles north of New Zealand. With over 333 islands, Fiji offers tourists with access to beach activities, as well as snorkeling and scuba diving excursions in the country's coral reefs, such as the ones near Matangi Island.
