With over 60 percent of Rhode Island covered in natural woodlands, it is known to be a beautiful place to go camping. While there are no campgrounds that have water slides, there are several water parks near camping areas. Enjoy the rolling countryside, incredible beach camping, and keep the family entertained the whole time.
Water Wizz has the largest water slides in Rhode Island. It hosts over 1,000 feet of water slides and two pools. It is located across the street from Misquamicut State Beach Campground.
Adventureland of Narragansett is located in Narragansett Rhode Island. It has two water slides, bumper boats with water cannons, and 18 holes of putt-putt golf. Fishermen's State Park is a perfect place to camp or park an RV within Narragansett. However, it is an extremely popular campground and it is advised to reserve a campsite before visiting.
Yawgoo Valley Water Park is located only 2 miles away from Wawaloam campgrounds. It hosts two water slides and three pools. Yawgoo Valley is also a ski resort in the winter, and one can ride to the top of the lifts to enjoy the scenery in the summer months.
Funtraptions is a White Water Amusement park in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Funtraptions is located only 3 miles away from Card's camp, a campground known for it's incredible kayaking. Whitewater paddling is not a family recreation, but Funtraptions is defiantly the park for adults wanting to enjoy a white water rush.
