Dixon Springs State Park is located in Golconda, about one mile northwest of the Kentucky state line. The park has campground facilities that include RV sites with electric and water connections and a primitive area for tent camping with no electricity or water. Dixon Springs State Park features a large outdoor swimming pool with a water slide that is 45 feet long. Located about 90 miles west of Chicago in Amboy, O'Connell's Jellystone Park features family RV camping with water slides for the children. The park, which has RV sites with electric, water and sewer connections, has a swimming pool with two water slides. One of the slides is more than 200 feet long, while the other runs almost 175 feet. O'Connell's Jellystone Park also includes other amenities like bath, shower and laundry facilities, wireless Internet, three swimming pools, hot tubs, playgrounds, a gold-panning facility and a miniature golf course.
