River Run Campground is located just half an hour southeast of Mayo, right next to the Ichetuckanee State Park. You can rent a kayak, canoe or tube to float down the spring-fed rivers or relax on dry land with a game of darts or volleyball. Sites are available for both tent and RV camping. The 64 full service RV sites are set along paved roads and have 30- and 50-amp electricity and wireless Internet. If you prefer to be even closer to nature, stay in one of the 35 tent campsites and make use of the bathhouse's showers and restrooms, which are accessible for guests with disabilities.

Ellie Ray's River Landing offers 99 RV campsites with 30- and 50-amp electricity, most of which are shaded. You can splash around in the spring-fed swimming area, try your hand at fresh water fishing or rent a canoe to set out down the Santa Fe River. The campground is located just a mile outside of the town of Branford, making it easy to go out for a meal or shopping.

Lafayette Blue Spring State Park has the only campsites within the town of Mayo. The park only has primitive campsites without water or electricity and does not accept reservations. You can also stay in one of five furnished cabins perched on stilts over the spring, which do accept reservations. The spring water stays around 72 degrees Fahrenheit, making the park a convenient destination for boating, fishing, swimming or scuba diving.
