Campgrounds With Cabins in Florida Near Hot Springs

Florida has two hot springs, Little Salt Sink Spring and Warm Mineral Springs. They are about three miles apart in Sarasota County in central west Florida. Little Salt Sink Spring is now under the control of the University of Miami, which purchased the site to preserve the archaeological evidence present. Warm Mineral Springs, however, does allow public access. There is only one campground within a 30-minute drive of the hot springs that offers rental cabins, and that is Camp Venice Retreat.
  1. Cabins at Camp Venice Retreat

There are no kitchens in the cabins, although each cabin has a picnic table on the porch. Restrooms with showers are nearby. Camp Venice Policies

    • No pets are allowed in cabins or at tent sites, and only one vehicle per cabin is permitted. Quiet time is from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m., and excessive noise is prohibited at all times.
