Campgrounds With Cabins in Arizona

Campgrounds with cabins offer choices to groups with differing needs. Not everyone enjoys sleeping on hard ground or owns an RV, yet that doesn't stop mixed groups from camping together. A cabin can range from a simple, bring-your-own sleeping bag bunk in a wooden hut to a luxury space with kitchen and bed linen. Arizona offers several campgrounds where you may choose between a cabin and a camping spot.
  1. Williams Kampgrounds of America (KOA)

    • Williams KOA is located 45 minutes from the Grand Canyon, near the city of Williams. Part of a nationwide chain, this campground is family-friendly, offering bicycle rentals, a Wii system and kids' activities. You may stay in a one-room "kamping kabin," a basic accommodation with a bed: Bring your own bedding. Alternatively, RVs can take advantage of a full hookup RV spot with an option of 50 amp service and cable TV hookups. Maximum length is 100 feet. There's also a tent camping area. During high season, the campground puts on entertainment and cookouts and opens its pool and spa. Winter is cold here--but you'll see plenty of stars. The campground's amenities include a store, coffee bar, laundry room and tour booking service.
