    East Fork State Park

    • Operated by Ohio State Parks, East Fork State Park is 10 miles south of Owensville. East Fork is one of Ohio's largest state parks--nearly 5,000 acres of sprawling meadows, rolling hills and scenic waters. The park has miles of hiking opportunities, a boat launch, fishing, wildlife viewing and hunting in permitted areas. The park has four cabins, constructed of cedar, available for rental. The cabins, equipped with a full kitchen, a bedroom and living area, can be rented on a daily and weekly basis. The campground also maintains 389 campsites, bathrooms, a swimming beach, eight picnic areas, mini-golf, bike rental and playground.

    Morgan's Outdoor Adventures

    • Morgan's Outdoor Adventures, located near Owensville in southwest Ohio, provides canoe, kayak and raft expeditions along the Little Miami River. Adventurers have the option of staying in riverside cabins or pitching a tent at the campground. The trips take visitors through Ft. Ancient Gorge, famous for its collection of American Indian earthworks. Cabins are simple, one-room structures that feature two beds, a porch, a hammock, a grill and a picnic table. The campground is located three miles from Ft. Ancient Gorge and can be accessed by the river or biking Morgan's private trails.
