The Jackson Rancheria RV Park is part of a resort and casino owned and operated by the Miwuk Indians. The campground is located in a secluded and forested area of the property. A 24-hour shuttle goes back and forth from the campground to the casino. It has 100 RV sites that are next to restrooms and showers. Both pull-through and back-in sites are available along with sewer, water and electric connections of up to 20, 30 and 50 amps. Campers have access to a heated pool, two spas, free cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet, a clubhouse with a kitchen, a barbecue area, laundry room, a dump station, horseshoe pits and a volleyball court.

Nine miles northeast of Jackson in Pine Grove, the Gold Country Campground Resort offers guests the option of staying on tent sites, RV sites or in cabins and cottages. The campground has RV sites with water, sewer and electric connections of either 30 or 50 amps. The RV sites vary in size, but its deluxe sites accommodate RVs up to 50 feet. The deluxe sites also have fire pits, picnic tables and cable TV. The campground's basic facilities include restrooms, showers and a laundry room. For recreational enjoyment the campground offers a swimming pool, a water-spray park, an arcade room with a pool table, a miniature golf course and a playground. The tent sites are primitive with no hook-ups for RVs.

The Roaring Camp Mining Co. in Pine Grove is a former gold mining camp on the banks of the
Mokelumne River. The owners claim that since the camp was so inaccessible during the Gold Rush, much of the gold still remains and campers are free to do their own prospecting. The campground includes rustic cabins for rent and primitive tent sites. The cabins and tent sites come with picnic tables and fire rings, and are situated along the river. Roaring Camp offers lessons on how to look for gold and puts on a barbecue on Saturday nights. In addition to gold mining, the campground offers many fishing, swimming and hiking activities. A playground and miniature golf course are also on the property.
