Cedar Lodge

• Cedar Lodge is open year round and offers access to both Lake Almanor and the Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. The lodge offers RV camping, but also has a motel on site. Sites have full RV hook-ups and the park has BBQ grills, a swimming pool, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, table tennis and a variety of other entertaining amenities. As of 2010, RV campsites start at $25 per day but there are weekly and monthly rates as well.

Last Chance Campground

• Last Chance Campground is a PG&E campground and has 25 sites, some of which can be reserved as both group and individual sites. The campground offers hunting, fishing, hiking and horse riding and is located near Evelyn Lake. Water, sewage and propane hook-ups are available and an electric generator is available through PG&E at certain times. The campground is open from May to October and reservations can be made over the phone.

Childs Meadow Resort

• Childs Meadow campground has 24 RV full hook-up sites and 8 tent sites. The campground offers fishing, hunting, and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. It is close to multiple streams for trout fishing and is also close to Lake Almanor if you have a boat or canoe and would prefer to fish on the lake. The campground also has a café open May through October, restrooms, a laundry facility, a general store and Internet access.

North Shore Campground

• The North Shore Campground offers a variety of amenities for tent and RV campers alike. These include restrooms, laundry facilities, a general store as well as wireless Internet in certain locations. Tent sites have drinking water access and RV campsites have water and electric hook-ups. All sites have fire pits and picnic tables. The park also offers canoe, kayak and fishing boat rentals, a boat dock, fish cleaning stations and a small library. The park is open from April to October and rates vary depending on the type of site you rent and any number of additional guests you have.
