The Moon Meadows RV Park, which can be found approximately 25 minutes north of Eagar and three miles from the center of the town of St. Johns, has a campground with 70 RV sites that have water, sewer and electric connections. The sites, which are 40 by 90 feet and provide shade, all have 50-amp electric available. Onsite amenities include laundry facilities, RV and boat storage areas, restrooms, showers and paved roads. Onsite recreational facilities, with nightly, weekly and monthly rates, include horseshoe pits, a recreation room and picnic areas with barbecue pits. The park also has wireless Internet access and hiking trails along its borders.

The South Fork Campground is roughly 15 minutes southwest of Eager and in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. Located along a fork of the Little Colorado River at an elevation of 7,928 feet, the campground has eight sites for either tents or RVs up to 32 feet. The sites are equipped with picnic tables, fire rings and grills. Drinking water is available from faucets, but there are no water, sewer or electrical hook-ups for RVs. No bathrooms or showers are provided either, although vault toilets are on the grounds at a campground located in a grove of ponderosa pines. A 14-mile round-trip trail starts at the campground. Pets are allowed, but they must be leashed.

The Casa Malpais RV Park & Campground, two miles north of Eager, has an RV campground with electric connections of up to 50 amps as well as water and sewer hook-ups. The campground allows pets and some facilities include a picnic area, barbecue pits, restrooms, showers, a recreation room and a clubhouse with a meeting room. Some of the sites are pull-throughs. Cable TV hook-ups are also available, along with a laundry facility. Guests at the campground can fish, swim, raft and canoe at various lakes and rivers in the surrounding area, including the Little Colorado River. Numerous hiking trails are also situated near the Casa Malpais RV Park & Campground.
